Hi there!

We're Lance and Jessica. We've been married for 15 years and have been blessed with a life full of love and stability. We feel called to share that with a child.

We admire the strength and love it takes for you to consider adoption for your child. It’s clear that you want the very best for them, and that’s a kind of caring we deeply respect.

As hopeful adoptive parents, we promise to provide a nurturing home, to guide your child in faith as Christians, and to support them in every step as they grow into a kind person who makes a positive difference in the world.
Your child will always know of the brave choice you made out of love, and we will do all we can to honor that decision by loving them unconditionally and raising them to be compassionate and successful.

Our Story

  • Lance grew up near Chicago and moved to Florida as a teenager to be near family. He lost his father to cancer in 2011. His parents’ teachings on respect, honesty, and faith have shaped him into the strong, caring person he is today.

Jessica grew up in the Pacific Northwest, hiking and camping for family vacations. Her parents encouraged her love of softball, playing of musical instruments, and volunteering for church projects and mission trips.

We met in 2006 on a traveling ministry team that performed music in churches, nursing homes, and preschools around the Midwest and South Central United States for a year. We built our relationship on serving others together, and ministry through our church is still a big part of our lives today. We have built a life founded on being rooted in faith, connected to family, and loving to explore nature. We have 3 dogs who love to snuggle, go on golf cart rides, and tag along on our road trip adventures.

  • Music - Lance is a drummer at church, and together we dabble in lots of instruments.

Board Games - We love laughing with friends and family over a game every time we get together.

Travel - Vacation means time for another road trip for us! We love to explore state and national parks.

Dog Training - Lance has been taking our puppy to agility classes and it so cool to see them progress!

Theater - We maintain season tickets to our local community theater for musicals. We love supporting local talent.

Swimming - We love splashing and playing in our backyard pool. It's a fun way to cool off in the summer.

Crafting - We have supplies for jewelry making, crochet projects, painting, and all kinds of ways to express your creativity on hand.

Learning - We take classes, maintain a home library, and learn new things every chance we can.

Cooking - We love expressing our creativity in the kitchen too. We regularly to invite others over to enjoy home cooked food together.

Nature - We are constantly getting outside to explore new places. A favorite activity is geocaching!

Hobbies and Interests

Meet Jessica

  • By Lance

Jessica is really special—a mix of being humble and full of energy. She's serious when needed, but she's also super loving, kind hearted and silly- especially when she's teaching kids important stuff about life.

When things get tough, she makes hard choices seem easy with how smart and caring she is. She's great at dealing with everyday problems. She's always focused and someone you can count on. Plus, she's really strong in her faith, which shows in everything she does.

Jessica's hobbies are the reason we have a special room dedicated to books and crafts! Hosting family for the holidays and game nights bring her so much joy. She's number one supporter, my sassy best friend! I feel unbelievably lucky to have her. And I can't wait for her to be a mom—I know she'll be amazing.

Meet Lance

  • By Jessica

Lance is truly a gift from God in my life. I have been amazed at how truly generous, persistent, and fun he is every day since I first met him. I've never known anyone to not enjoy being around him.

He is a phenomenally good listener, truly cares about what's in the best interest of those around him, and is always looking to learn and grow his knowledge by listening to those who are willing to mentor. He is confident when it's an important issue, but incredibly humble when it's needed.

His silly side helps us connect in laughter constantly. He has been incredibly intentional about strengthening his faith and his relationship with God, which makes him the best husband and leader of a family that anyone could hope for. I'm so overwhelmingly grateful for every day with him.

Our Pets

  • Our dogs have already learned how to be gentle with kids thanks to our nieces and nephews coming over to visit every week. When we read bedtime stories, they are right there helping tuck them in and making sure they're cozy.

Tazo, a 6-year-old lab, is Jessica's service dog and is the perfect companion. He's calm and incredibly well-trained, but also super playful.

Willa, a 6-year-old Staffordshire mix, is a snuggle bug. She loves to explore outside, but then she will come back in and enjoy cuddling up while you read or play a game.

McGee, a 2 1/2-year-old bully mix, is always happy to be included in whatever is happening. A walk, a car ride, play time - whatever is happening he just wants to be involved.

Home Sweet Home

  • We live in a wonderful neighborhood that is perfect for raising a family. Our street is quiet and lined with trees, with sidewalks where kids can safely ride bikes, take walks, and play outside. It truly feels like a great place where neighbors know each other and look out for one another.

We are just minutes away from several parks, the beach, and our local library. We love that there are so many places nearby for learning, exploring, and making memories together.

Our home has three bedrooms and an open family room that is great for spending time together, hosting friends, and celebrating holidays. Outside, we have a large fenced yard and a pool where kids can swim, play games, and enjoy being outdoors. We can already picture laughter, birthday parties, and everyday family moments filling this space.

From the Heart

  • Thank you for taking the time to read our story. We can only imagine how much thought and emotion goes into the decisions you are facing, and we have so much respect for you.

If you choose us for adoption, we want you to know your child would be raised in a home where they are safe, loved, and truly known. We will guide them, support them, and walk with them through both the good moments and the hard ones. We would make sure they know how amazing you are and how much you love them.

Our faith in God shapes how we live, and we trust Him with this journey and His timing. We are open to ongoing communication and would be honored to know your story as well.

No matter what you decide, we are praying for you. Thank you again for considering us.

    With love,
    Lance & Jessica
