Hi there!
I want to start out by expressing my admiration for you and the decision you are making. I can imagine that it is not an easy decision to make, but I want you to know that you have my utmost respect and full support on this journey. I hope to share with you a little about my life story and give you some insight into what has brought me to write you this letter. I hope to paint a picture of what your child's life would look like and the love that would surround them if you were to choose me to raise them. I hope that by the end of this, you will see my heart is open and ready!

Quiero comenzar expresando mi admiración por ti y por la decisión que estás tomando. Puedo imaginar que no es una decisión fácil, pero quiero que sepas que tienes todo mi respeto y apoyo en este proceso. Deseo compartir contigo un poco de mi historia de vida y contarte qué me ha llevado a escribirte esta carta. Espero poder darte una idea de cómo sería la vida de tu hijo(a) y del amor que lo(a) rodearía si eliges que yo sea quien lo(a) críe. ¡Espero que al final de esta carta veas que mi corazón está abierto y listo!
My Journey

As a young girl, I remember playing "house" with baby dolls. I always insisted on being the "mom" and embraced the role by making sure they were dressed, fed and well cared for. As I grew older, I held onto this role as the neighborhood babysitter, then a summer camp counselor, and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I have always had a special way with children that was easily recognizable by many. I am blessed with so many little (and some now grown) children who look to me as a second mom. I always felt in my heart that I would have my own children, but the opportunity has not presented itself yet. My core belief is that God has a plan, and even though some things don't go how we want them to go, there is a reason. He has a time and a place for His plan for me.

Mi camino
Desde niña recuerdo jugar a “la casita” con muñecas. Siempre insistía en ser la “mamá” y asumía el papel asegurándome de que mis “bebés” estuvieran vestidos, alimentados y bien cuidados. A medida que fui creciendo, mantuve ese rol: primero como la niñera del vecindario, luego como consejera de campamento de verano, y finalmente obtuve mi Licenciatura en Educación Primaria. Siempre he tenido una conexión especial con los niños, algo que muchos han notado fácilmente. Me siento bendecida por tener tantos niños (algunos ya adultos) que me ven como una segunda madre. Siempre sentí en mi corazón que algún día tendría mis propios hijos, pero la oportunidad aún no se ha presentado. Mi creencia más profunda es que Dios tiene un plan, y aunque a veces las cosas no salen como queremos, siempre hay una razón. Él tiene un tiempo y un lugar para cumplir su propósito en mi vida.
Hobbies and Interests

In my free time, you can find me doing a wide variety of things! Travel is by far my favorite. Whether it is to a new Farmer's Market in the town over, a National Park or even a new country, I love to immerse myself in what this world has to offer. I love spending weekends at the neighborhood community center. We have a 14 acre crystal lagoon that looks like a beach in the Caribbean. There are always tons of fun activities for kids and adults. I am an avid exerciser and enjoy keeping it exciting by constantly mixing up my routine with pilates, weights, running, yoga and even some crossfit workouts. I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes. Italian food is my favorite! Some other hobbies include going to concerts, attending football games, spending time with friends and family having lazy nights in with a good movie.

Pasatiempos e intereses
En mi tiempo libre me gusta hacer muchas cosas diferentes. ¡Viajar es, sin duda, mi favorita! Ya sea visitar un nuevo mercado agrícola en un pueblo cercano, un parque nacional o incluso un nuevo país, me encanta sumergirme en lo que el mundo tiene para ofrecer. Paso muchos fines de semana en el centro comunitario del vecindario. Tenemos una laguna cristalina de 14 acres que parece una playa del Caribe. Siempre hay actividades divertidas para niños y adultos. Me encanta hacer ejercicio y mantener mi rutina variada con pilates, pesas, correr, yoga e incluso algo de crossfit. Disfruto cocinar y probar nuevas recetas; ¡mi comida favorita es la italiana! Otros de mis pasatiempos incluyen asistir a conciertos, partidos de fútbol, pasar tiempo con amigos y familiares, o simplemente tener noches tranquilas en casa viendo una buena película.
What I Believe

Faith is the foundation of my values. It is my strength during challenging times and my gratitude for God's plan and timing. Family is another core value. We provide loyalty, love and support for each other. Friends are another form of family. They are extended family and make up my village. There is deep value in their consistent support. Adventure is one of my favorite values, especially traveling adventures. I love to experience new things and create core memories.

La fe es la base de mis valores. Es mi fortaleza en los momentos difíciles y mi fuente de gratitud por el plan y el tiempo de Dios. La familia es otro de mis valores fundamentales. Nos brindamos lealtad, amor y apoyo mutuo. Los amigos son otra forma de familia: son una extensión de ella y forman parte de mi “aldea”. Valoro profundamente su apoyo constante. La aventura es otro de mis valores favoritos, especialmente las aventuras de viaje. Me encanta experimentar cosas nuevas y crear recuerdos inolvidables.

A Closer Look

A typical day starts with exercise of some kind to get my energy flowing. Next comes coffee, followed by my job that I am fortunate to love! In the role of medical device sales, my days are spent in hospitals educating the staff about our products, or helping a Physician plan for a procedure in the operating room. I like to wind down by cooking dinner and catching up with neighbors while on a walk or golf cart ride. I look forward to shifting my mornings to getting myself and a little one ready and out the door for the day. At the end of the day, I look forward to evenings spent at the park or watching them get their last bit of energy out with the neighborhood children. I think the end of the evening with my child will be my favorite with dinner together, bedtime routines and rocking them to sleep.

Un día típico comienza con algo de ejercicio para activar mi energía. Luego viene el café, seguido por mi trabajo, ¡el cual tengo la suerte de amar! En mi función de ventas de dispositivos médicos, paso mis días en hospitales educando al personal sobre nuestros productos o ayudando a un médico a planificar un procedimiento en quirófano. Me gusta relajarme cocinando la cena y conversando con mis vecinos mientras caminamos o damos un paseo en carrito de golf. Espero con ilusión el día en que mis mañanas cambien a preparar a mi hijo(a) y salir juntos para comenzar el día. Al final de la jornada, me emociona pensar en las tardes en el parque o viendo cómo juega con los niños del vecindario. Creo que mi momento favorito será por la noche: cenar juntos, seguir la rutina para dormir y arrullarlo(a) hasta que se duerma.

I live in a vibrant community that has lots of fun amenities and activities. Just one mile from my front door is a beautiful 14 acre blue crystal lagoon with beautiful white sand "beaches". There are kayaks, paddleboards, water slides and a pirate ship playground. Our clubhouse is always doing something fun such as weekly kids nights, over the top holiday parties, and Farmers Markets. There is an elementary, middle and high school all within 3 miles of my home. I love spending early mornings and evenings on my back porch. It backs up to a stretch of preserve where I have seen deer and bunny rabbits. The inside is warm and welcoming. The kitchen opens up to the living area, making it the perfect atmosphere for gatherings with friends and family.

Dulce hogar
Vivo en una comunidad llena de vida, con muchas comodidades y actividades. A solo una milla de mi casa hay una hermosa laguna azul cristalina de 14 acres con arena blanca. Hay kayaks, tablas de paddle, toboganes y un parque infantil en forma de barco pirata. Nuestro club social siempre organiza algo divertido: noches infantiles semanales, fiestas de temporada y mercados agrícolas. Hay una escuela primaria, una secundaria y una preparatoria a menos de 3 millas de mi casa. Me encanta pasar las mañanas y tardes en mi porche trasero, que da a una zona de reserva natural donde a veces se ven venados y conejos. El interior es cálido y acogedor; la cocina se abre hacia la sala, creando el ambiente perfecto para reuniones con amigos y familia.
My Family

I have a wonderful family that consists of my parents, older sister and younger brother. I have 6 incredible nieces and nephews. One of my biggest honors has been watching them grow up, with the oldest now being 17! I cherish every second I get to spend with them. My parents are a short 20 minute drive away, making it easy to get together often. The whole family gets together several times a year. I always look forward to these get togethers. It is always nice to catch up with each other, but I really enjoy the quality time I get with my nieces and nephews.

Tengo una familia maravillosa compuesta por mis padres, una hermana mayor y un hermano menor. Tengo seis increíbles sobrinos y sobrinas. Uno de mis mayores honores ha sido verlos crecer; ¡el mayor ya tiene 17 años! Valoro cada momento que paso con ellos. Mis padres viven a solo 20 minutos en auto, lo que facilita que nos reunamos con frecuencia. Toda la familia se reúne varias veces al año. Siempre espero con alegría esos encuentros, pues disfruto mucho el tiempo de calidad con mis sobrinos y sobrinas.
Family Traditions

Some of my most cherished memories come from the traditions my family has built over the years, and I look forward to passing them on to my own child one day. Our annual family vacations are still a topic of conversation every time we get together. Our parents always planned adventurous trips to new places and made sure we got to experience what each destination had to offer. My mother excelled at themed birthday parties, making games and sweet treats by hand for each one. I can still remember almost every theme from each year. Walks down St. George Street never get old. We wander through shops and restaurants while taking in the history and excitement in the charming city. Christmas is one of my favorite traditions. We attend a Christmas Eve church service, followed by dinner. We get to open Christmas pajamas the night before and have a fire. Christmas morning is spent opening gifts, having a big delicious breakfast and celebrating the birth of Jesus. Thanksgiving is another favorite holiday, not just for the great food, but for the intentional moments to reflect on how thankful we are for all of the blessings we have! It is always a relaxed day full of good food and quality time together.

Algunos de mis recuerdos más preciados provienen de las tradiciones que mi familia ha creado a lo largo de los años, y espero poder transmitirlas a mi propio hijo algún día. Nuestras vacaciones familiares anuales todavía son tema de conversación cada vez que nos reunimos. Mis padres siempre planificaban viajes aventureros a lugares nuevos, asegurándose de que experimentáramos todo lo que cada destino ofrecía. Mi madre era experta en organizar fiestas de cumpleaños temáticas, haciendo juegos y dulces caseros para cada una. Todavía recuerdo casi todos los temas de cada año. Caminar por la calle St. George nunca pasa de moda; paseamos por las tiendas y restaurantes disfrutando de la historia y el encanto de la ciudad. La Navidad es una de mis tradiciones favoritas: asistimos al servicio de Nochebuena, cenamos, abrimos nuestros pijamas navideños y encendemos una fogata. La mañana de Navidad la pasamos abriendo regalos, disfrutando un delicioso desayuno y celebrando el nacimiento de Jesús. El Día de Acción de Gracias también es uno de mis días favoritos, no solo por la comida deliciosa, sino por los momentos de reflexión sobre todo lo que tenemos que agradecer. Siempre es un día relajado lleno de buena comida y tiempo de calidad en familia.
