Hello!
We want to start by thanking you for taking the time to learn more about us and our family. We can only imagine the incredible strength and selflessness it takes to consider adoption for your child and we deeply respect and honor the difficult decision you are facing. If we are lucky enough to be chosen as adoptive parents, we will honor your child’s story, their heritage, and the incredibly important role you play in their life. Your child will always know where they came from and how deeply they were loved from the very beginning by us and by you. We are committed to building an open and respectful relationship between us all, in whatever way feels right to you. No matter what you decide, we wish you peace and clarity as you move forward. We know that the choice of adoption is rooted in pure love and connection, and we are ready to walk this journey with open arms and open hearts.

About Us
-
We met at a time when neither of us was fully expecting love, but God knew exactly what we needed. Through friendship, laughter, and honest conversations, we built a deep connection. Our relationship is rooted in shared values, mutual respect, and a desire to build a life and a family founded on our shared faith.
We’ve been married for almost three years now, and throughout life's challenges, we've learned to lean on each other, to hold space for sorrow and for hope, and to find beauty even in the unexpected turns. We now stand in a place of deep gratitude for each other, for the life we've built together, and for the opportunity to grow our family through adoption.

My Wife
-
Told by Joey
Maddie is the kind of woman who pours herself wholeheartedly into everything she does. She approaches life with energy and purpose. She listens without judgment, stands beside me in good times and challenges, and offers me encouragement when I need it most. Her loyalty is unwavering. She is fiercely independent, strong-willed, and not afraid to speak up for what she believes in. One of the things I value most about our relationship is how we tackle problems together. Maddie is an exceptional listener and a critical thinker. She is always willing to work through tough situations instead of avoiding them. She is a true partner and grounds me. I am the type of person who is always go, go, go, and Maddie is very good at remaining present. She reminds me to be content and grateful for what we have right now, while still remaining hopeful for the future.
Maddie is a very loving, empathetic, wonderful mother. She is always researching different parenting techniques or even just creative ways to get our son to eat his fruits and vegetables. She is patient, caring, and sets a great example for our son of what it means to be a good human being.

My Husband
-
Told by Maddie
Joey is the kind of partner I feel lucky to share life with. He’s thoughtful in ways that matter: whether it’s checking in on how I’m feeling, stepping up when things get hectic, or just making me laugh when I need it most. He respects me and somehow always knows when I need a little extra love (or space!).
What I admire most about my husband is his kindness. No matter what’s going on, he shows up with patience and a willingness to help anyone who needs it. I also admire how Joey handles responsibility without complaining, how he stays grounded when things get stressful, and how he never stops trying to grow and be better.
Joey is an amazing husband and parent. He cares for us so deeply and unconditionally. It’s the little things he does, like making my morning coffee or bringing me flowers “just because I love you,” that remind me every day how lucky I am to have him. Watching him with our son has made me fall more in love with him as well. He’s not just a father, he’s a role model, a teacher, a playmate, and a safe place all in one. The way our son looks up to him and lights up when he’s around says it all.

Meet Henry
-
Henry is our three and a half year old son. He loves to play with his train set, read books in bed with mom and dad, and play on the playground at the park. He always wants to get together with his cousins after school and loves playing and spending time with them.
We know he will be the best big brother. Even at three, he has already expressed a deep desire for a baby brother or sister. We know he would care for and love them wholeheartedly.

Where We Live
-
We truly love where we live. Our community feels like home, and we plan to stay here, even if we move into a new house. It’s the kind of place where neighbors wave and kids play in each other’s yards. We’ve built strong relationships here with friends, family, schools, and our church, and we feel incredibly grateful to raise our family in this place.
We love living in the suburbs of the Midwest. Our city is filled with rich diversity and a proud history. We have great sports teams with dedicated fans, lots of amazing family-owned restaurants, and plenty of places we can take our son to keep him entertained. Our local community is very supportive of one another and always uplifts its residents. There are frequent, free local events like concerts and farmers' markets that we love to attend. We both grew up in the area and always knew this was where we would want to raise our family one day.

Our Traditions
-
We take holiday traditions very seriously around here! We love to decorate and celebrate any and every holiday we can. Ironically, all of our birthdays fall on major holidays so it feels very meant-to-be. We try to make birthdays feel very special, especially for our son. We want to make lasting, meaningful memories that he will cherish as much as we do. A somewhat unique tradition of ours that we love is putting up our Christmas decor the day after Halloween and decorating new ornaments together to add to the tree each year.

From the Heart
-
Thank you for taking the time to learn about our family. There truly aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are for your consideration. If you choose us to be part of your child’s journey, we will carry that responsibility with deep gratitude and unwavering commitment. Please trust that your child will be cherished beyond measure in our family. We will honor where they came from and always speak of you with the love and respect you deserve.
We don’t take any part of this process lightly. We know adoption involves grief as well as love, loss as well as hope. And because we’ve seen both sides, we carry this journey with deep empathy and reverence. We feel called to be part of an adoption story, not only because we want to grow our family, but because we believe in honoring the truth and love that adoption holds for everyone involved.
We want you to know that no matter what decision you make, we’re rooting for you. We are praying for peace in your heart. We hope you feel supported and surrounded by care in your journey.
