We are Rob and Anees, and we are so thankful you are here! We have been married for almost 10 years now, and our life is full of adventure and fun. We love to be outside, spending time together, cooking, or hanging out with friends and family. Travel is a big part of our lives, whether it's a weekend getaway or a week-long vacation; we love making memories and exploring new places.
We know that family is created through love, and our hearts are beyond excited to grow our family through adoption. We truly feel honored to walk this journey together. ¡Somos Rob y Anees, y estamos muy agradecidos de que estés aquí! Hemos estado casados por casi 10 años, y nuestra vida está llena de aventuras y diversión. We met in 2013 and over time, became best friends! We started dating in 2014 and then got engaged and married in 2016. We truly enjoy being together, learning new things, traveling, and living life to the fullest. We make a great team and can truly withstand anything that comes our way.
We try to cultivate so many fun moments even when life feels mundane. Through holiday celebrations and traditions, travel, and quality time with friends and family, we truly live a life full of adventure and fun!
Our desire has always been to have children. We have truly been stretched, as our journey to having children has involved two losses and seven long years of infertility. Through our challenges, we have truly leaned on each other and God to get us through each day. Our faith and commitment to each other and this journey together have played a huge role in our growth as a couple.
We are full of hope and excitement as we enter this next step in our journey!

Nos conocimos en el 2013 y, con el tiempo, ¡nos convertimos en mejores amigos! Empezamos a salir en el 2014 y luego nos comprometimos y casamos en el 2016. Realmente disfrutamos estar juntos, aprender cosas nuevas, viajar y vivir la vida al máximo. Somos un gran equipo y sabemos enfrentar cualquier cosa que la vida nos presente.
Tratamos de crear muchos momentos divertidos incluso cuando la vida parece rutinaria. A través de celebraciones y tradiciones familiares, viajes y tiempo de calidad con amigos y familia, vivimos una vida llena de aventura y alegría.
Nuestro deseo siempre ha sido tener hijos. Nuestro camino hacia la paternidad ha sido difícil, incluyendo dos pérdidas y siete largos años de infertilidad. Durante estos desafíos, nos hemos apoyado mutuamente y en Dios para seguir adelante cada día. Nuestra fe y compromiso el uno con el otro y con este camino han sido fundamentales para nuestro crecimiento como pareja.

Anees is the most loving, intelligent, and capable person that I know! She has a natural ability to understand and connect with people from all walks of life, a quality that has resulted in strong and lasting relationships wherever she goes. Her calm and nurturing nature always ensures that she is the steady and caring voice in the room, and her adventurous, determined, and optimistic personality blends this voice with a fun-loving spirit.
Anees' gifts shine with children, where she instinctively creates peaceful environments filled with creativity, laughter, and warmth. Affectionately called "Ne Ne" by our nieces, nephews, and close friends' children, a visit from Anees means bedtime stories, games, and lots of hugs. Through the fun, she never fails to mirror the love of Christ, pointing them to the One who loved them first. I look forward to our children experiencing her love and caring spirit that l've loved for twelve years, and l'm excited for the continual encouragement, attention, and admiration they'll receive every day.

Rob is truly my favorite person. He is loyal, dependable, intentional, selfless, compassionate, and always present with me, our friends, and family. Often, he knows what I want or need before I even know myself. Rob is the leader of our home and loves to set goals and have a vision for where we are going together as a family. His ability to stay calm in the tough moments is one of my favorite things about him. I can count on him to always help me to be equipped with whatever I need to succeed.
His love for Jesus is his guiding light in everything he does, at work or at home. As we grow our family, I know Rob will be an amazing dad. Through his peaceful presence and ability to connect with children, I know any child will be blessed to have him in their corner. He inspires me to be great every day, and I know he will do the same for our children as well.

Where We Live

We live in a peaceful suburban community about 30 minutes outside of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Our home is one of our favorite places. We have an open-concept home with tons of windows and natural light. Across from our house, you can often see deer, bunnies, and birds playing everywhere.
We live near the lakefront in a family-friendly community that has walking paths, splash pads, parks, restaurants, and outdoor concerts. It's a place where families and children can enjoy endless fun!
There are tons of events that take place in our community for the holidays, and they work hard to make it special for everyone!
This is a staple spot in our community, and we love to spend time there. We really look at this as an extension of our home since it's so close and we are often there. We truly love our home and community, and cannot wait to share it all with a child.

Dónde Vivimos
Vivimos en una tranquila comunidad suburbana a unos 30 minutos de Nueva Orleans, Louisiana.
Nuestro hogar es uno de nuestros lugares favoritos. Tenemos una casa de concepto abierto con muchas ventanas y luz natural. Frente a nuestra casa, frecuentemente se pueden ver venados, conejitos y aves jugando por todas partes.
Vivimos cerca del lago en una comunidad familiar con senderos para caminar, parques acuáticos, parques, restaurantes y conciertos al aire libre. ¡Es un lugar donde las familias y los niños pueden disfrutar de muchísima diversión!
Durante las festividades se realizan muchos eventos especiales en nuestra comunidad y siempre se esfuerzan por hacer que cada celebración sea especial para todos.
Este lugar es muy importante para nuestra comunidad y nos encanta pasar tiempo allí. Lo vemos como una extensión de nuestro hogar porque está muy cerca y solemos visitarlo frecuentemente. Amamos profundamente nuestro hogar y nuestra comunidad, y no podemos esperar para compartirlo todo con un niño(a).
Our Traditions + Faith

The number one thing we value as a family in our home, as well as our extended family, is our faith. It is a central part of how we live our lives and operate on a day-to-day basis. We practice our faith by reading our Bibles each day, attending church every weekend, and participating in small groups throughout the year. Our faith is the guiding light that gets us through each day and helps us to stay grounded in what matters most.
Holiday celebrations and traditions are so special to us and are such a big part of our lives. We have traditions that we have cultivated as a family over the years that truly make each holiday special and exciting. These traditions have gotten even more magical as siblings and cousins in our family have had children over the past few years, and we get to experience everything through their eyes.
