Our Story
-
As we began our journey toward growing our family, we spent several months trying to conceive. When that didn’t happen, we turned to a fertility clinic and, over the past three years, pursued many treatments with hope and determination. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, those attempts were unsuccessful.
Adoption has always been something we felt open to and drawn toward. Early in our marriage, we attended an adoption seminar at our church to better understand what that journey could look like. While adoption was never off the table, we chose to pursue fertility treatments first, hoping to experience having a biological child. The past few years have brought deep disappointment and heartache, but our desire to become parents and to love a child wholeheartedly has never faded.
After our final fertility attempt, we returned to the idea of adoption with open hearts and a renewed sense of purpose. While our journey hasn’t been easy, we feel truly grateful, excited, and honored to be on this path toward adoption and growing our family.

Nuestra Historia
Al comenzar nuestro camino para formar una familia, pasamos varios meses intentando concebir. Cuando eso no ocurrió, acudimos a una clínica de fertilidad y, durante los últimos tres años, seguimos muchos tratamientos con esperanza y determinación. Lamentablemente, a pesar de nuestros mejores esfuerzos, esos intentos no tuvieron éxito.
La adopción siempre ha sido algo hacia lo que nos hemos sentido abiertos y llamados. Al principio de nuestro matrimonio asistimos a un seminario de adopción en nuestra iglesia para entender mejor cómo podría ser ese camino. Aunque la adopción nunca estuvo descartada, elegimos intentar tratamientos de fertilidad primero, esperando experimentar tener un hijo biológico. Los últimos años han traído mucha decepción y dolor, pero nuestro deseo de ser padres y amar profundamente a un niño nunca ha disminuido.
Después de nuestro último intento de fertilidad, regresamos a la idea de la adopción con el corazón abierto y un renovado sentido de propósito. Aunque nuestro recorrido no ha sido fácil, nos sentimos profundamente agradecidos, emocionados y honrados de estar en este camino hacia la adopción y el crecimiento de nuestra familia.

She has a natural ability to connect with anyone and brings joy wherever she goes through her love of singing, dancing, and entertaining. Lacy often takes the lead in bringing people together, whether for a shared meal or a weekend away. She is confident, motivated, and passionate about her work as a teacher and tutor, forming meaningful relationships with her students that extend far beyond the classroom.
As a wife, Lacy is intentional, honest, and deeply supportive. She values communication and regularly offers words of encouragement that strengthen our marriage. We share a deep understanding and appreciation of each other’s personalities and quirks.
I am incredibly excited to see Lacy become a mother. She looks forward to sharing her love of reading, learning, and fun, while creating a nurturing, joyful environment. She will cherish every moment of bonding and is wholeheartedly committed to nurturing, loving and caring for our child.

His kindness, affection, and sense of humor bring so much joy to our life together.
Ryan has always enjoyed investing in children. Even before we met, he volunteered at Vacation Bible School and tutored students, and we later served together in children’s ministry. He naturally connects with kids by meeting them at their level, listening closely, and sharing in their interests. Watching him interact with children—with such gentleness and care—fills me with confidence that he will be a wonderful, loving father.

Our Home and Pet

We live in a modern rambler-style home built in 2013 with four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. While our backyard is modest, we have direct access to a beautiful 340-acre regional park with trails, a beach, and a playground. Our home features an open floor plan designed for gathering, and we love hosting family and friends. It is a comfortable, welcoming space that truly feels like our sanctuary.
Though we enjoy exploring new places, home is where we feel most at peace. We love cooking together, relaxing with a favorite show or book, playing card games, working in the yard, and spending time with our golden retriever, Luz. She is gentle, affectionate, and a cherished part of our family, bringing us daily joy and companionship.

Nuestro Hogar y Mascota
Vivimos en una casa moderna estilo rambler construida en 2013, con cuatro habitaciones y tres baños y medio. Aunque nuestro patio es modesto, tenemos acceso directo a un hermoso parque regional de 340 acres con senderos, playa y área de juegos. Nuestro hogar tiene un plano abierto pensado para reunir gente, y nos encanta recibir a familiares y amigos. Es un espacio cómodo, acogedor y realmente nuestro refugio.
Aunque disfrutamos viajar y conocer nuevos lugares, nuestro hogar es donde más paz sentimos. Nos encanta cocinar juntos, descansar viendo un programa o leyendo, jugar cartas, trabajar en el jardín y pasar tiempo con nuestra golden retriever, Luz. Ella es dulce, cariñosa y una parte invaluable de nuestra familia, dándonos alegría y compañía todos los días.

Our city has often been recognized as one of the best places to live, and we feel it truly lives up to that reputation. We love that our neighborhood is peaceful, safe, and welcoming, with many families and children of all ages nearby. Its central location makes it easy to travel to neighboring cities for work, activities, or time with loved ones.
The area offers a wonderful variety of dining options, outdoor recreation, live music, and family-friendly events such as festivals and art fairs. Our home sits near the border of two cities, giving us access to two highly regarded school districts. We also enjoy the many parks, trails, and lakes that surround us, which provide year-round opportunities to walk, bike, and spend time near the water. With short commutes to church, work, family, and friends, we’re able to stay connected and engaged in the relationships and commitments that matter most to us.

Nuestra ciudad ha sido reconocida muchas veces como uno de los mejores lugares para vivir, y sentimos que realmente lo merece.
